As soon as you step through the door of Nicole Olivia Cakes, you’ll notice the warm and inviting atmosphere filled with the enticing aroma of sponge baking, freshly ground coffee and the sight of artfully decorated cakes, colourful macarons and towering scones - truly a feast for the senses! 

Nicole, the talented cake artist behind the business, and her mum shared with us the journey of turning her childhood love for baking into a flourishing enterprise, fuelled by countless hours spent perfecting recipes and honing her decorating skills.

At Nicole Olivia Cakes, no request is too big or too small, Nicole works closely with her clients to bring their dream cakes to life, ensuring that each design uniquely reflects their style and theme. During our visit, Nicole decorated a special birthday cake with floral decorations and shimmering gold leaf accents. We also got to marvel at a variety of creations on display, including intricately piped Valentine's Day celebration cakes. 

Whether you’re after a simple cupcake or an elaborate multi-tier masterpiece, Nicole’s flair for design and attention to detail promise a show-stopping centrepiece for any occasion.

Nicole’s cakes taste as good as they look - by using the finest ingredients, including local free-range eggs Nicole produces great quality cakes and supports local growers and producers at the same time.

Nicole recently spent a week in Paris, where she learnt the art of making traditional croissants. Nicole bakes these fresh French delights every weekend - but you need to be quick to get your hand on one because they sell out fast!

Mark our CEO first discovered the blondie, when he sampled one of Nicole's Kinder Bueno versions a few years ago, he is convinced that there is no better blondie in Bassetlaw, potentially the UK. During the visit Mark admitted that he likes Nicole's blondies so much that when he buys cakes for the team in the office he gets himself 2 - a secret one that he eats as soon as he gets in the car and another that he eats with the team.
