Bacopa Drive, Cornelia Mews & Monsella Grove, Retford – Built on the former Norman’s Nurseries site, Bacopa is a perennial, creeping herb, Cornelia is a breed of rose and Monsella is a variety of Tulip.
Vernon Avenue, Retford – Named after the former MP for Retford, Granville Edward Harcourt Vernon (1816-1861).
New Inn Walk, Retford – The pub on the corner is the Grade II Listed New Inn.
King Edwards Terrace, Retford – Named after the nearby King Edward VI Grammar School.
Elizabethan Gardens, Retford – These houses are built on the site of the old Elizabethan High School which was demolished in 2008.
Gresley Road, Retford- Sir Nigel Gresley designed the Flying Scotsman steam locomotive that travelled along the LNER railway which runs through Retford.
Osberton Road, Retford – The Osberton Estate lies between Retford and Worksop The Foljambe are the current occupiers. The Osberton horse trials are held there each autumn.
