Why Feedback on Viewings is Key to Selling Your Home
If you’re on the market with another agent and feeling frustrated by a lack of clear, consistent feedback on viewings, you’re not alone. At Nicholsons, we understand just how important actionable feedback is in helping you sell your home. Here’s how we do things differently.

Feedback Done Right
Here’s how we handle feedback:
- We Call the Next Day: To get the most accurate and considered feedback, we follow up with the viewer the next day after they’ve had time to reflect. We make at least 2-3 attempts to contact them by phone, ensuring their feedback is as honest and useful as possible.
- We Use a Text Feedback System: Some viewers just don't feel comfortable giving feedback over the phone. So if we're struggling to get hold of them we have a simple text system with star ratings and comments. Many people find this method less intimidating and are often more open and honest in their responses.
Why Feedback Matters
- Helps You Adjust: Constructive criticism allows you to address any recurring issues, such as presentation or pricing concerns, that might be deterring buyers.
- Avoids Miscommunication: We never pass on vague feedback like “It wasn’t for us.” Instead, we dig deeper to uncover the real reasons behind a decision.
- Manages Expectations: By waiting for considered feedback and diligently following up, we avoid raising false hopes for our sellers. This approach ensures you only receive realistic, actionable insights.
